DDP in Brief

What is Deep Dive Politics?

Deep Dive Politics is  an international civil initiative — across countries, across cultures, and across parties —  featuring expert analysis and dialogue on important political, economic, and socio-cultural issues that concern all.

Why do we need DDP?

Evidently, we live in a post-truth world created by information pollution, biased journalism and fake news. That may be the reason that people move away from mainstream media and search for alternative routes in order to get unbiased/unfiltered information. Feeling responsible as global citizens, volunteers from different origins and backgrounds decided to take a step and create this YouTube Channel. Deep Dive Politics is an international online platform distinguishing itself from conventional forms of similar projects by letting the information flow towards the audience without being controlled or influenced by anyone.
Are you tired of seeing the same faces, agencies, scholars, institutions which tell you how to analyze the events across the globe? If you are, then the DDP platform is the venue of your own, both as an audience and a contributor. After all, similar to a language, the process of getting unbiased/unfiltered information is an intersubjective process which requires a right way of interaction. That’s why it is of utmost importance to create an atmosphere not dominated by the pseudo academics, experts or journalists, but devoted to hearing the voices of objective, impartial, independent individuals.

What does Deep Dive Politics seek to accomplish?

DDP is an international civil initiative that is owned and run by everyone in the World, with its identifying motto that the DDP is Independent, Impartial and International
DDP seeks to maintain an independent outlook for the world events by making people find their own stories.  We, therefore, agree with Rumi who righteously warned, “Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.”
DDP’s role is to achieve ultimate impartiality by making ourself as the guest rather than the cook while discussing world issues. This is how Aristo was thinking when he said, “the guest will judge better of a feast than the cook”…Since its foundation, Deep Dive Politics decided to travel its path with international audience in order to act within the World Together framework, thus subscribing to a dictum echoing an African proverb:  “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”.
